We’re currently seeking a driven individual that has a basic to intermediate understanding of mechanical knowledge to join our team as a Storeperson. This role provides support to our mechanical tradespeople and wider workshop-based team. Come on board with Busways at our Ryde Depot. What We Offer Earning Potential: Up to $85,000+ including reasonable overtime loading and generous allowances Inclusive of superBase rate of $34. 52 - $36. 68 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Annual Leave: loading of 17.

Your main duties will include: Requisition, purchase, receive, check GRN delivery documents and Invoices, locate, issue and dispatch parts and equipment to external suppliers, depot staff and other depots.

Maintain inventory systems and stock levels, and undertake stock checks, stock take and cycle counting functions as required. Maintain an accurate record of all transactions by applying the Greentree system – and maintaining written evidence or records to support activity. Monitor and Issue bulk lubricants and parts to ensure supply will meet demandMonitor fuel usage and order as required by performing readings of fuel stored and used. Work as part of a team to ensure the internal and external customer needs are meet. Train other staff in basic stores when required.

Apply relevant Busways policies and procedures including those related to WHS, environment, dangerous goods and regulatory proceduresMaintain a safe store where parts are easily identified and are accessible, in compliance with established legislation, polices and procedures. Performing other general, non-trades services as directedOur workshop staff play a critical role within the business to ensure our ever-evolving fleet of vehicles are continually maintained to the highest standard to keep our staff and passengers safe out on the road.
