Position: Buyer and Merchandiser (All Level)Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Buying and Merchandising Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting and managing the product assortment, OTB planning, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring that the right products are available at the right time. This role requires strong analytical skills, a keen eye for fashion trends, and the ability to negotiate with suppliers. We are looking for candidates across all experience levels, from entry-level to senior positions.Key Responsibilities:Buying:Identify and select products that align with the brand’s aesthetic and customer preferences.Conduct market research to stay informed about fashion trends, customer needs, and competitive products.Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices, terms, and delivery schedules.Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.Set sales projections and Open-to-Buy (OTB) budgets for each season.Monitor and manage the performance of the product assortment, making adjustments as needed.Merchandising:Plan and execute merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability.Persuade cross-selling across merchandise categories to boost overall sales.Create visually appealing product displays and ensure that merchandise is presented in an attractive manner.Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop promotional strategies and campaigns.Inventory Management:Monitor inventory levels and reorder products as necessary.Manage stock levels across multiple locations, including warehouses and retail stores.Implement inventory control measures to minimize shrinkage and maximize profitability.Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of products.Analysis and Reporting:Analyze weekly, monthly, and yearly sales reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to inform buying and merchandising decisions.Monitor industry trends and market conditions to stay ahead of the competition.Product Management:Coordinate with the merchandising team about OTB for each season to ensure that production meets buying targets.Plan merchandising and store distribution according to product ranges.Recommend best-selling and slow-selling styles to designers and the merchandising team to better meet customer needs.Analyze merchandise performance and take action on fast-moving and slow-moving items.Qualifications:Entry-Level:Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, Merchandising, or a related field.1-3 years of experience in buying and merchandising with basic understanding of buying and merchandising principles, preferably in the fashion retail industry.Strong analytical and numerical skills.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of inventory management systems.Passion for fashion and current trends.Mid-Level:Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, Merchandising, or a related field.4-6 years of experience in buying and merchandising, preferably in the fashion retail industry.Proven track record of successful product selection and inventory management.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using data analysis tools.Excellent project management and organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Keen eye for fashion trends and customer preferences.Senior-Level:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion, Business, Merchandising, or a related field.7+ years of experience in buying and merchandising, preferably in a leadership role within the fashion retail industry.Proven experience in developing and executing comprehensive buying and merchandising strategies.Strong leadership and team management skills.Deep understanding of market research, data analysis, and inventory management.Expertise in supplier negotiation and relationship management.Strong network within the fashion industry.Fluent in Thai with a good command of English.
