About the RoleWe’re looking for a detail-driven Buyer to support our growing supply chain operations by managing vendor relationships, purchase orders, and inventory flow across a diverse product portfolio. In this role, you’ll serve as a key partner to internal teams and external suppliers—ensuring materials arrive on time, data stays accurate, and cost expectations are met.What You’ll DoIssue and manage purchase orders from initial requisition through delivery.Monitor order status, identify delays, and proactively work with vendors to maintain target lead times.Maintain accurate item, pricing, and supplier records to support operational visibility and decision-making.Review shipping documents and confirmations to keep internal teams updated on inbound supply.Work closely with Receiving, Logistics, and Finance to resolve discrepancies, including shortages, overages, damages, and invoicing conflicts.Hold regular vendor check-ins to discuss performance metrics, opportunities for improvement, and upcoming capacity changes.Investigate product quality issues and coordinate corrective actions when needed.Provide timely updates on supply risks, backorder recovery timelines, and key supplier changes.Partner with planning teams to evaluate supplier capabilities and support service-level goals.Identify opportunities to streamline procurement workflows and enhance data accuracy.Required:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline—or equivalent hands-on experience.3–5 years of purchasing, procurement, or supplier management experience.Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort navigating digital purchasing systems.Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities across teams and suppliers.High attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to juggle shifting priorities.Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving instincts.Preferred:Experience managing global suppliers or international purchasing.Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or CPIM.
