Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified and results-oriented Buyer to join our procurement division within the Department Store / Hypermarket sector. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end buying activities, developing strong vendor partnerships, and ensuring a competitive and customer-focused product assortment.Key Responsibilities:• Develop and implement strategic buying plans in alignment with business objectives.• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal terms and product quality.• Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and sales performance to inform purchasing decisions.• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and ensure timely product availability.• Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, operations, and finance teams to support category growth and profitability.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a buying or category management role within retail, department store, or hypermarket operations.• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.• Proven ability to build and maintain strategic supplier relationships.• Proficiency in market analysis and inventory management systems.This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to a leading retail organization and drive commercial success through effective buying strategies.
