This role is responsible for purchasing goods and services, managing supplier relationships, and maintaining optimal inventory levels to support smooth and cost-effective operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities:Source, evaluate, and procure materials that meet company quality standards and delivery timelines.Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating favorable pricing, terms, and contracts.Monitor inventory levels, initiate reorders, and prevent shortages or excess stock.Conduct market research to stay informed on trends, pricing, and product availability.Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives.Qualifications:1–3 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing or medical device environment.Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and purchase order systems; NetSuite experience preferred.APICS or Six Sigma certification is a plus.Competencies:Highly detail-oriented and organized.Dependable, professional, and proactive.Strong communication and time management skills.Able to work effectively both independently and in a team setting.Opportunity:This temp-to-hire position offers excellent long-term growth potential within a well-established and innovative medical device company.Apply today by sending your resume to CHRC511@kellyservices.com.
