Job Title: Buyer IILocation: Merritt Island, FL 32953Duration: 06+ MonthsWork Schedule - Monday–FridaySummary:Responsible for managing suppliers, procurement processes, and strategic sourcing to support spaceflight system development. Oversee the full procurement cycle, from RFQs and contract negotiations to delivery and payment, ensuring on-time, cost-effective, and compliant results.Key Responsibilities:Manage supplier relationships and procurement activities for spaceflight systems.Prepare RFQs/RFPs, perform price analysis, and negotiate contracts (FFP, T&M, cost types).Develop and execute long-term agreements and sourcing strategies.Ensure compliance with FAR, AS9100, and import/export regulations (ITAR/EAR).Track program metrics and ensure on-time, budget-compliant deliveries.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree (5+ yrs experience) or Master’s (3 yrs) in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related.Procurement and supplier management expertise.Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.Knowledge of FAR, AS9100, engineering data, and contract types.Preferred:Aerospace/space industry experience, avionics/fluids knowledge.CPSM, CSCP, or PMP certification.Experience with Deltek Costpoint, Jira, SharePoint.
