The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work at pace and have a strong technical background and problem-solving skills. We are currently seeking a Backend Software Engineer (.NET) to take responsibility for building, enhancing, and maintaining products or systems that support client's business plans and long-term objectives, using the identified architecture. You will leverage your experience in developing .NET API Domain Services to build flexible, scalable, and resilient products in a cross-functional environment.Your RoleDesign, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient back-end systems and APIs.Collaborate with product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.Implement security and data protection measures.Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.Your ProfileMinimum 3.5+ years of experience in a backend developer roleBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Strong knowledge of software development principles, practices, and procedures for complex assignments.Proficiency in .NET C#Knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, DocumentDB etc.)Familiarity with API tools such as Postman or similar (Bruno experience is a bonus).Understanding of behaviour-driven development (BDD) testing and test automation techniques.Experience with version control in Git and CI/CD pipelines.Experience with Agile, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies.Self-motivated and proactive, with strong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Upper-Intermediate EnglishNice To HaveExperience working with enterprise software, particularly in the fintech, payroll, or financial services sectors.Development with or of AI agentic flowsGlobal experienceExperience in building highly integrated solutions – DevX, API design, complex integration architectureCapgemini is a global business and technology transformation partner, helping organizations to accelerate their dual transition to a digital and sustainable world, while creating tangible impact for enterprises and society.
