CAD Designer Level 1

What will you be doing?The Designer/Draftsperson is responsible for producing drawings and sketches consistent with good engineering practice and in compliance with company drawing office procedures.Specific Key Responsibilities AreProvide design drafting skills of a high quality and efficient output for all project work undertakenProvide CAD skills and knowledge both 2D and where appropriate 3DInterface with Drawing Office Supervisor / Lead Designer / Principal Designer to ensure CAD deliverable schedule is being metEnsure compliance with company QA and HSE proceduresOperate within standardized engineering policies, processes and systemsFamiliarity with relevant codes and standards used in the drafting work carried outLiaise directly when instructed with Project Engineers on installation drawings and sketchesHelp ensure smooth operation of CAD station, plotters and copying facilitiesCommunicate with other Designers to ensure knowledge sharing, best practice and competenceHelp ensure engineering compliance, so that Subsea 7 can deliver quality engineering solutions and avoid errorsRecord lessons learned and Opportunities for Improvement (OFIs) to assist in improved company systems and servicesWhat experience would we like you to have?Ability to function within a design team and across multiple projectsAbility to prioritise own workload, manage time accordingly and inform team members where constraints will affect a project in terms of program or budgetDemonstrable ability to work within time/budget constraintsCommitment to Continuing Professional DevelopmentKnowledge of AutoCAD and InventorGood level of French and English
