CAD Operator

Brannon Steel is looking for a CAD Operator to join the team at its Brampton manufacturing facility. You will use mechanical design principles and CAD/CAM applications such as SolidWorks, MasterCAM, Radan / RadBend and Draftsight to turn customer drawings and specifications into production CAD files for a variety of industrial processes.Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.We kindly ask that you refrain from calling to check on your application status. Rest assured, we will reach out to candidates who meet our requirements.ResponsibilitiesInterpret customer designs and specificationsOperate industrial CAD / CAM software to output production drawings and layoutsCommunicate with sales and engineering staff regarding work requirementsProvide information and support to production staffMaintain standards for document control, quality, and traceabilityMaintain accurate electronic and paper filesRequirementsCompletion of a post-secondary mechanical design or similar program OR equivalent experienceProficient with Solidworks.
