Kickstart your career in town planning with Council's exciting Cadet Town Planner opportunity. You will be involved in all aspects of the planning team activities, ensuring you gain hands on experience while studying part time to obtain your planning qualifications.You will gain experience in key planning duties, including assessing development applications, preparing recommendations and contributing to statutory planning documents. You'll assist and provide support to Council's planning team in the coordination and execution of planning initiatives.With your eye for detail and attention to accuracy you will use your strong written and verbal communication skills to provide a customer focused approach that will deliver enhanced outcomes for our community.To be eligible for this opportunity, you must be currently studying a Bachelor of Urban or Regional Planning, Bachelor of Architecture and Environment or a related field.
