Overall Purpose of The Job The Cadet Training Superintendent is responsible for all activities connected to Cadet Training including the selection of suitable Cadets into the Cadet Training Program.Key Responsibilities And TasksOverall responsible for Cadet Training and represent V. as Cadet Company Training OfficerWork with Head of Cadets and Global Cadet Manager to understand number required for strategic hiring.Responsible person for selection and relationships with Cadet universities / schools for the region.Responsible for selection process of Cadets into the Cadet program, also to be part of the selection panel.Responsible for ensuring high quality of training imparted to the Cadets in the Universities / School.Work with Training services for developing Training materials for Cadets and deliver the same to the Cadets in Universities / Schools as well as in Training Centres.Responsible for developing training pathways for individual Cadets by engaging with them at different points in their Cadet to Officer journeys. Responsible for Cadet Record book reviews and sign offsResponsible for creating and managing a “V. Cadet” networkAdditional Tasks:Responsible for ensuring that V. promotion criteria completed by all CadetsEnsure that Cadets that complete a structured V. Training program are suitable for promotion to Officer ranks.Ensure Cadet standards are continuously improved.Establish V. as an Employers of Choice for Cadets in the region.Key Success Measures:Positive feedback of Cadets employed with V.Positive appraisals of the Cadets at the end of their first tenure as Officers.Timely deployment of Cadets on board so as the control the overall waiting time for placement of Cadets at homeMajority of the Cadets who have been part of the V.
