Primary Responsibilities:
• Coordinate, schedule, and track shipments of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and other high technology capital equipment across a multitude of trade lanes• Hire machinists, craters, & forwarders by sending out RFQs, negotiating costs, and issuing POs• Manage client expectations pertaining to asset availability, carrier scheduling, and transit time by providing proactive status updates• Perform both asset and supplier due diligence prior to releasing funds• Control all communication between shipping and receiving parties, as well as third party vendors• Effectively structure and coordinate triangular shipments in order to protect proprietary data• Create shipping documents in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations• Maintain import/export compliance for the US, EU, and all other trade lanes• Manage costs on all assigned projects, submit Invoices to Finance Department in order to pay vendors• Manage contracted vendors by acting as liaison to the client• Perform ad hoc projects as needed by ManagementRequired Experience:
• 3+ years of international logistics experience is required; additional experience in export compliance is preferred. • Fluency in English is required, possessing verbal and written communication skills.
