What you’ll be working onAs the Public Relations & Customer Support Specialist, you will be the face of Calo in Qatar, representing our brand to both businesses and customers with professionalism and warmth. You will lead public relations initiatives, strengthen relationships with B2B partners, and engage with customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
Your role will blend strategic PR activities, such as media relations, events, and brand promotion with hands-on customer support, ensuring a seamless experience at every touchpoint. You will also manage governmental and business clearances, coordinate with internal teams, and actively contribute to growing Calo’s presence and reputation in the Qatari market.
Main ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute PR strategies to promote Calo’s brand image in QatarHandle press releases, media relations, and event planningProactively engage with customers through calls, meetings, and digital channelsMaintain excellent communication in both Arabic and English across all interactionsMonitor customer feedback and work with internal teams to address pain pointsSupport business development efforts by building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholdersManage and facilitate governmental and business clearances as neededAct as the primary point of contact for local media and public inquiriesIdentify opportunities for partnerships, collaborations, and community engagementHandle escalated customer concerns with empathy and efficiencyKeep up to date with industry trends and competitor activities to inform PR and CX strategiesIdeal candidateQualificationsQatari national with excellent communication skills in Arabic and English2–4 years of experience in Public Relations and/or Business Development, with customer-facing responsibilitiesProven experience in managing client relationships and handling media communicationsKnowledge & CompetencyStrong understanding of B2B engagement and customer experienceSkilled in public relations, media management, and brand promotionKnowledge of handling business clearances in QatarAbility to develop and implement customer engagement strategiesPersonalitycharismatic, confident, and approachable.
