This role is perfect for someone who loves to engage and connect with diverse audiences. THE ROLE:
The Environmental Marketing and Outreach Officer is responsible for promoting Caltech’s recycled products, coordinate public awareness activities, and assist with environmental education efforts. The ideal candidate will have relevant work experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, excellent skills in marketing, outreach, including social media, event planning, and campaign development – be strong in reporting and documentationSELECTION CRITERIA:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, communications, marketing, public relations, or a related fieldStrong communication and interpersonal skills – comfortable speaking in front of groupsStrong marketing skills and a high level of comfort in promoting and selling products are essentialAbility to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively. Good written skills for basic reports and summaries. Passion for environmental sustainability, recycling, and community development. Proficiency in Tetum and English (Portuguese or Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage). Willingness to travel locally for events, site visits, and shop outreach.
