Job Description

Position Camco Technologies is experiencing strong growth and is heavily investing in the further professionalization of its HR department. We are looking for an HR Manager who, with an operational, hands-on approach, is ready to take on the challenge of shaping existing processes and structures while establishing new ones where necessary. The key focus areas include compensation policy, performance management, and employee development. In the initial phase of this role, you will be primarily operational: first and foremost, you will ensure a strong foundation in the HR department, which will serve as the basis for a solid HR policy.

Additionally, you will translate the company strategy into concrete actions and initiate strategic projects. What will you do?You will lead a small team of 5 HR professionals (two HR Generalists, an HR Recruiter, our internal Technical Trainer, and a Payroll Manager) as well as one person responsible for Office Management. You will collaborate with the prevention advisor to promote quality awareness and foster a culture of preventive work. You will set up HR projects and guide the HR Generalists in their implementation, such as establishing structured processes for performance management, training and development, talent review, and succession planning.

You will work alongside the Payroll Manager to develop the compensation policy and optimize job classifications and salary structures. You will promote a culture in which employees feel supported and engaged, ensuring that the mission, vision, and objectives of the company are clear so that everyone can perform their role optimally. You will translate the company strategy into HR processes and procedures, creating concrete action plans, budgets, and KPIs. Profile Preferably, you have a Master’s degree and at least 10 years of experience in a generalist HR role.

You are willing to take on operational tasks and can adapt flexibly. You are a practical-minded person who knows how to set priorities efficiently. You have experience leading a team. You have experience working in a production and technical environment. You have knowledge of both hard and soft HR. Making decisions is not a problem for you. You have strong communication skills and know how to engage and inspire people. You have experience in creating a culture of engagement, ownership, and collaboration. You can easily translate strategic plans into concrete work plans and actions.

You are fluent in Dutch and English. Offer You will join an international SME based in Leuven, with over 200 employees worldwide, where you will have the opportunity to shape the HR policy. You will have the chance to play a key role in the growth and professionalization of HR within a fast-growing company. You will be given responsibility and autonomy. You will be part of the management team. You will receive a competitive salary, complemented by additional benefits and a company car or mobility budget.

This position can be carried out either as an employee or under a self-employed status.
