Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Analyst or Associate, Real Estate Asset Management. This role will focus on managing and optimizing a multi-billion-dollar national portfolio of commercial real estate assets with a concentration of multi-family housing and net-leased assets, ensuring the achievement of financial objectives while enhancing property value. The ideal candidate will be i) detail-oriented with a strong focus on results, ii) able to think strategically and creatively to solve problems, iii) be proactive and self-motivated, and iv) thrive in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. Responsibilities: Portfolio Management:
Assist in managing a national portfolio of primarily multi-family and net-leased properties, ensuring the achievement of financial and operational goals. Financial Performance: Analyze property and portfolio performance, including tracking actual results against budget and underwriting. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial review of operating and capital expendituresCapital Projects: Monitor capital improvement projects, ensuring timely completion and within budget, while enhancing asset value and tenant satisfaction. Compliance and Risk Management: Monitor lease compliance, loan compliance and compliance with local laws and ordinances. Stakeholder Coordination:
Coordinate with property managers, tax consultants, insurance brokers and other third-party service providers Qualifications: Experience: 1-3 years of experience in real estate investment, asset management, investment banking, accounting or related financial services fieldFinancial Acumen: Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel required Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbalProfessional Drive: Proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn within a team-oriented environment. Interest in real estate investing and a desire to grow within the asset management function. Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required
