Job Description
A leading global investment firm is seeking a senior level professional to lead capital raising efforts in Japan. This role will focus on expanding the firm’s institutional investor base and driving fundraising across strategies including Private Equity, Real Estate, and Private Credit. Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute fundraising strategies targeting Japanese institutional investors (pension funds, banks, insurers, corporates).Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective LPs.Represent the firm in investor meetings, conferences, and industry events.Collaborate with investment teams to tailor fund offerings to Japanese investor preferences.Monitor market trends and regulatory developments to inform fundraising strategy.Partner with global IR, legal, and compliance teams to ensure alignment and execution.Qualifications:10+ years of experience in capital raising, investor relations, or investment banking.Strong network of Japanese institutional investors.Familiarity with alternative investment products (real estate, infrastructure, private credit).Fluent in Japanese and English.Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.Strategic mindset with ability to execute tactically.
