Investment Analyst

The Client: Our client is an active real estate private equity investor, specialising in both direct property opportunistic equity and real estate credit. With over $2 billion in funds under management (FUM), they have been an influential player in the real estate market for nearly 10 years, focusing on high-return opportunities across Australia and New Zealand. The Role: Working directly with the CIO & Head of Capital Transactions, you will be heavily involved in analysing and evaluating potential deals, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all stages of the process.

This is a busy, high-stakes role with long hours during peak transaction periods, requiring an individual with an impeccable attention to detail and a strong analytical mindset. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Capital Transactions to conduct in-depth due diligence on new real estate investment opportunities. Analyse financial models, market data, and other relevant information to evaluate potential deals. Provide comprehensive investment reports and recommendations to senior team members. Work closely with the investment team during transaction execution, including document review, structuring, and risk assessment.

Help identify opportunities for portfolio optimisation and support strategic decision-making processes. We are looking for candidates with: 3-5 years in real estate, finance, or investment analysis post degree, with experience in due diligence and investment evaluation. Excellent analytical skills and comfort working with financial models and market data. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high deal pipeline.
