Multi Carpenter

With ambitious plans for further national expansion, we are committed to making a lasting impact in the industry. We are currently looking for a Multi Carpenter to join our team in Canterbury. You will provide high-quality carpentry and multi-trade repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment work to residential properties within a social housing environment.

The role requires delivering a customer-focused and efficient service to tenants while ensuring that all work complies with health and safety regulations and quality standards. You will be expected to do call out with this role – £5K per year. Accountabilities/ResponsibilitiesResponsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance, responsive repairs, void works and other similar activities within domestic and other properties. Carry out door and window repairs/replacements. Flooring, skirting, architraves, and other 2nd fix carpentry. Fencing and external timberwork repairsPlumbing (e. g.

fixing leaks, replacing taps)Plastering (patch repairs)Tiling and painting/decorating (touch-ups)Changing locks on emergency call out if necessaryUtilse all aspects of your specialist trade and secondary/multi trades as well as your excellent analytical skills in diagnosing faults and implementing remedies on the first visit to the property as much as possible. Ensure that maintenance works are completed safely to SHE requirements, delivered efficiently and to a professionally high standard; working flexibly, alone or within a team and completing works within required timescales and deadlines. Skills/ExperiencePrevious experience in a Multi Trader role particularly in social housing.

NVQ in Carpentry. Experience changing locks. Experience in UPVC window repairs.
