Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.Job Description / ResponsibilityJob Context:Bengal Commercial Bank PLC is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented professional to lead and manage the team responsible for backend operations of our cards and digital banking products. The role will oversee the seamless, secure, and efficient functioning of our diverse portfolio, including Debit, Credit, and Prepaid Cards, ATMs, Internet Banking, Contact Center services, and other emerging digital payment channels.The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, operational acumen, and a keen eye for detail to ensure the highest standards of operational efficiency, service excellence, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities:Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of all Card Products (Issuance, Maintenance, Settlement, and Reconciliation) and Digital Banking Channels (Mobile App, Internet Banking, Payment Gateways, QR Solutions).Ensure accurate, timely processing, reconciliation, and settlement of all card and digital banking transactions, adhering to internal policies and regulatory guidelines.Implement, monitor, and enhance robust fraud detection and prevention mechanisms for cards and digital channels. Collaborate effectively with risk management teams to mitigate operational risks.Act as an escalation point for complex operational queries related to cards and digital banking, ensuring prompt and effective resolution and superior customer experience.Liaise with Payment System Operator (PSO), Card Networks (Visa, MasterCard, NPSB), payment aggregators, and technology partners to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and optimize operational efficiencies.Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and system enhancements to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate customer satisfaction.Build strong partnerships and lead a high-performing digital team by collaborating with technology providers and internal stakeholders to enhance digital capabilities, introduce innovative solutions, and expand the Bank’s digital presence.Produce regular, data-driven reports on digital banking performance, transaction volumes, service availability, incidents, and other key metrics to support strategic decision-making.Assure timely submission of reports for all international payments systems (IPS) and regulator.Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture.Educational RequirementsMastersPost-Graduation/ Masters Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering or a related field from any reputed university with no Third Class/Division.Experience RequirementsAt least 10 year(s)Additional RequirementsMinimum 10 years of banking experience, including at least 02 to 03 years in a managerial role within the Card Operations department of a scheduled commercial bank.Strong understanding of card life-cycle management, innovation, automation, and product developmentExperience in working with regulatory bodies, internal/external audits, and compliance frameworksAbility to implement digital solutions and manage cross-functional teams effectivelyJob LocationDhaka
