Be a part of it, letâs get something started!About The RoleThis newly created role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to deliver high impact human resources support in a fast paced, collaborative environment. Your attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to meet deadlines will ensure smooth day to day HR operations. This role offers variety, impact, growth, and the chance to make a positive impact in shaping and delivering an exceptional employee experience at Campbelltown City Council. Reporting to the HR Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
Provide administration support to the Human Resources Operations team, including in assisting with end to end employment lifecycle tasks. Be a key contact with recruitment assitance, including organising interviews, collating pre-employment documents and preparing letters of offer. Responsible for the onboarding process for new employees on their first day, including organising swipe cards, sending the New Starter communications and meeting them for âWelcome to Campbelltownâ. Set up new employees Council's electronic platforms and assist the HR Business Partners in ensuring data is accurate and up to date at all times.
In consultation with the HR Business Partners, provide accurate and professional policy and legislative advice to staff, including Local Government (State) Award provisions and entitlements. Assist the HR Business Partner with any workplace change proposals, including but not limited to, drafting position descriptions, drafting relevant letters and team communications, updating organisational charts and position management data. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or relatedRelevant human resources administration experience Demonstrated ability contribute to the implementation of contemporary human resource management solutions, practices and trends in a busy work environment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and be aware of sensitive information being handled in a professional manner. Exceptional communication skills (written and oral). Demonstrated organisational and time management skills to meet set timelines. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers and a commitment to the provision of exceptional customer service.
