Carey Olsen is a prestigious, award-winning offshore legal firm based in the Channel Islands, and we are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Tier 1 Corporate team in Jersey. This position will concentrate on providing advice to our primary client on various corporate issues, including M&A, PE, Structuring, Restructuring, Administration, and the Formation of Investment Funds and Real Estate Holding Entities, covering all stages from establishment and launch to financing and dissolution.
The ideal candidate will possess 5-8 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) and be qualified as a lawyer in a commonwealth jurisdiction, with substantial experience in managing intricate transactions and delivering effective solutions. A strong background in Corporate Law is crucial, particularly with M&A and Funds experience being advantageous. The applicant should also demonstrate strong numerical skills and proficiency in Excel, with knowledge of French and Swedish being a plus; a solid academic background is also required.
