Carfair Composites is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all production equipment operates efficiently and safely. This position involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing various machinery and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and the ability to work on complex problems under minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipmentTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issuesMaintain an inventory of spare parts and supplies for repairsDocument all maintenance activities and repairs in the maintenance management systemCollaborate with production personnel to ensure minimal downtime during repairsAdhere to health and safety regulations at all timesParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processesTrain and mentor junior staff as necessaryOther duties as assignedRequirementsQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or a related field preferred2+ years of experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systemsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and schematicsProficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipmentStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independentlyGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as requiredWillingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as necessaryBenefitsWHY JOIN OUR TEAM:
