Cargo Operations Officer/ Cargo Specialist

The Company:Our client is a global logistics company with offices in Israel, Europe, the USA, and APAC.The Role:The Cargo Operations Officer is part of the airport operations team at Ben Gurion Airport and involves supporting cargo load planning, supervising cargo handling, coordinating with internal and external teams, and ensuring all cargo operations run safely and efficiently. You will assist with documentation, cargo build-up, and compliance with safety regulations.Responsibilities:Prepare and manage flight and cargo documentation accurately.Coordinate cargo load planning and support physical loading and offloading of cargo.Communicate with sales, warehouse staff, ramp agents, and external service providers.Monitor cargo build-up, track discrepancies, and ensure timely flight closure.Ensure proper handling of dangerous goods in compliance with IATA and company regulations.Maintain system updates and clear communication between teams.Work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Requirements:Hardworking and energetic with strong attention to detail.Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (airport not accessible by public transport).Good communication skills in Hebrew and basic English.Previous experience in cargo, logistics, aviation, or freight forwarding is an advantage but not required.Team player with integrity and ability to follow strict operational procedures.
