Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral FirefightingBe the go-to problem solver for novel, high-priority challenges across the organization. Diagnose product and operational issues, create data-driven strategies to address them, and execute solutions effectively. Manage and interface with existing customers directly, responding to problems and staying on top of all follow-ups. Tracking customer-reported issues, synthesizing proposed product enhancements based on customer feedback and data, and presenting to team members.
Act as a Swiss Army Knife, flexibly adapting to the needs of our fast-paced, scaling startup. Data Analysis & ReportingLeverage analytics tools, databases, and SQL to pull reports and analyze key performance data. Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor operational metrics, providing actionable insights. Proactively identify trends and opportunities for improvement across teams. System & Process DevelopmentCollect customer feedback and work directly with the CEO to identify product improvements. Partner with department leads to design and implement scalable systems and SOPs. Drive operational excellence by identifying inefficiencies and optimizing workflows. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution of new initiatives.
About You3–4 years in a similar operations role at a fast-growing startup, consulting firm, or equivalent environment, and demonstrated fast-track career progression in those roles. Attending or completed a reputable MBA program in the United States (WashU Olin preferred). Exercise strong customer tact – the ability to communicate with high-level customers in the best interest of the company. Excellent email writer and strong proficiency with Outlook. Strong proficiency with Tableau, SQL, and other analytics tools. Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
Demonstrated success working across a broad range of operational functions, consistently performing at a top-of-cohort level. Thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
