Caruso is a family owned, 4th generation company that delivers fresh ready-to-eat, and pre-cut produce, sandwiches, salads, and fresh meal kits to retail distribution centers and direct-to-retail stores all over the USA and we are growing!The Driver Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding candidates across the Midwest. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruiting CDL and Non-CDL drivers. Will be responsible for sourcing candidates through job boards, networking, and other methods. They will also be responsible for onboarding new hires.
The Driver Recruiter must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties/Responsibilities: Collaborates with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled. Identifies the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates. Posts and/or places ads in the most effective digital and/or print media for open positions. Identifies appropriate candidates and assesses their qualifications through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communications. Maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications.
Attends job fairs and industry conferences; runs company booth at job fairs. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Tenstreet. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in related technical and/or human resources field preferred. At least two years of related recruiting experience required. Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
