As we continue to grow our small team of 28, the Recorder’s Court team is seeking a skilledindividualwith knowledge of court rules, legal terminology, practices and court room procedures, file andd atabasemanagement who is ready to assist with the day-to-day administrative of the Recorder's Court.As the Case Disposition Clerk you will process adjudicated court cases making entries on thecourt docket that record thesentence on the charges.We offer great pay, excellent benefits to include medical, dental, and vision plans, life insurance,employee/spouse/childsupplemental life insurance, short-term disability, tuition reimbursement, wellness programs, deferred compensation plan(457 B), pension plan, flexible spending account, employer home purchase assistance, employee referral program and 12paid holidays!Women, Minorities, and Veterans Are Encouraged to Apply!Essential Job FunctionsEnter and process court adjudications, updating internal systems with judges’ decisions on all case types.Prepare and submit reports to the Georgia Electronic Conviction Processing System (GECPS) and the Department of Driver Services.Send legal notices such as subpoenas and failure to appear letters to defendants.Answer and manage incoming court-related calls, assist with case inquiries, and reschedule court dates as needed.Bind cases for referral to DUI Court, State Court, and Superior Court.Correct driving history errors and submit supporting documentation.Support customer service, file clerk, or courtroom operations during staff absences.Maintain accuracy in records and confidentiality in all case-related communication.Performs other related duties as assigned.?Minimum QualificationsRequires a High School graduation or GED equivalent supplemented by two years of experience in Criminal Justice, Law, or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.Additional RequirementsBackground investigation, including supervised drug screen, post offer/pre-employment medical screen; and verification of education, certifications, and licenses required prior to employment.This position is safety sensitive and subject to a background check for any convictions directly related to its duties and responsibilities.
