Location: DublinContract: Part Time, 2 Year Fixed Term ContractFocus Ireland is seeking a dedicated and empathetic professional to provideonsite support to families living in emergency accommodation. In this vital role, you’ll be a key part of helping families move from crisis to stability.You’ll work directly with families toassess their needs, offer tailored support, and advocate on their behalf—all with the goal of guiding them toward secure, long-term housing.This position offers a hybrid working model, with one work from home day per week following successful completion of probation.Benefits:25 days Annual Leave & 3 Concession Days (prorated) 7% Employer Pension Contribution, Maternity Top Up 26 Weeks, Tax-Saver Scheme, Education Assistance Policy, Reflective Practice.What You Will DoTo work within the framework of the overall objectives of Focus Ireland.Manage an allocated caseload and adhere to care and case management processes and protocols.Carry out assessments and reviews and develop and implement support plans with families referred to the service.To work within a client-centred, psychologically informed environment and trauma informed approach, encouraging autonomy and independence.Maintain accurate records and statistics in accordance with Focus Ireland policy. To work with and under the supervision and direction of the line management within the project.Make contact with and establish links as appropriate with local services and relevant community groups and to work closely with emergency accommodation and housing providers .Be familiar with and comply with all relevant Focus Ireland policy e.g. Child Protection Policy, Confidentiality Policy, Customer Complaints Policy, Health and Safety Policy, Personnel Policy.Be vigilant to any Health, Safety and Welfare risks in the workplace and bring any concerns to the attention of your Line Manager or Health & Safety representative.Attend and contribute to Team, Section and Agency meetings as required.What You Will NeedA relevant third level qualification at degree level i.e. social care, psychology, sociology.Proven experience working in a social care setting.Full clean driver’s license and use of car (Desirable)Experience of dealing with child protection and welfare responsibilities and responding appropriately to any concerns.
