Cash and Bank Analyst

A Snapshot of Your DayAs a Cash and Bank Analyst, you will ensure accurate and timely processing of Bank and Cash transactions and month-end closing activities, adhering to IFRS, local GAAP, and other regulations. You will analyze accounting issues, identify and accurate errors, and give to improvements in execution, with support from the Bank and Cash Senior Analyst when needed.Collaboration is needed, as you will work closely with internal and external collaborators, including regional accounting hubs and local business teams. You will actively listen, address collaborator needs, and take ownership of decisions in sophisticated financial operations. Additionally, you will share best practices to enhance efficiency and support continuous improvement across Siemens Energy’s global network.How you'll make an impact:Validating that bank statement imports/uploads automatic and manual are performed in a timely manner and free from error in SAP; perform bank accounts reconciliations in a timely manner and that aged items are followed-up on and clarified by following-up with any reasonable party; reconcile account balances between SAP and bank interface; perform special booking transactions (e.g. overpayments, employees, tax authorities, wage tax etc.); create journals to internal / external Bank Account; bank related interim account clearing; investigate and resolve payment rejection.Perform month end activities, ensuring stability in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities, assisting with ad-hoc duties required by management to meet the needs of the business.Supporting the Senior and Principal Analysts in preparing internal control's documentation in Bank & Cash accounting.Supporting internal and external audits by providing timely and qualitative information and resolving queries from the auditors (where applicable for the assigned countries/legal entities and tasks).Performing and continuously update DTP (Desktop Procedure) documentation for existing and are involved in the creation of DTPs for new processes/variances.Giving and engaging in standardizing and automating our workflows, Bank & Cash processes and our cross-functional processes throughout the company.What you bringBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting or related field.Preferably first experience in the field of Bank & Cash Accounting & Finance Operations or General Ledger.Basic knowledge of accounting and basic knowledge of IFRS accounting is preferable.Preferably first basic understanding of business processes in SAP.Experience in transitions and transformation projects is an advantage!You are open and communicative in nature as well as fluent English skills complete your profile!About The TeamOur Accounting Service functions are essential in driving the company's strategic initiatives and ensuring operational excellence across various departments, business areas, and regions.
