WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORWe are looking for a dynamic Cash Application Analyst who will ensure the adequate incoming cash allocation on assigned portfolios, maintain low unapplied cash, produce timely reporting as required and comply with Guerbet’s policies and processes. This position is offered as a fixed-term contract for a duration of one year.YOUR ROLEResponsible for cash allocation activities on the assigned portfolios. Activities include daily booking of cash receipts, minimizing unapplied cash balances on customers’ accounts, liaising with banking partners, supporting credit analysts with account reconciliationsResponsible for the accurate cash receipts reporting on the assigned portfolios on a monthly basisResponsible for ensuring cash application metrics are achieved on the assigned portfolios in accordance with agreed goalsEnsure compliance to, and maintenance of, internal controls in accordance with the Guerbet policies, local tax regulations and accounting legislation.Work with other team members to complete the close process each monthAssist with accounts receivable and special projects as neededYOUR BACKGROUNDBachelor degree in finance, accounting, or related discipline is desirableAnalytically minded with strong financial acumenStrong attention to detailsEffectively manage multiple prioritiesGood organizational skills and problem solving skills are essentialGoal oriented, motivated self-starter, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills with the ability to deal tactfully, confidently, and ethically with both internal and external customers.Knowledge of basic accounting principles and excellent knowledge of cash application processesStrong PC skills with proficiency in Excel and experience with the full Microsoft suite2 or more years of experience in cash applications roleFluency in English required (Other European languages an advantage)
