Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Handle all cash transactions related to meal services, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation. Maintain daily attendance records for catering staff and report discrepancies to the Shift Supervisor or Shift Manager. Reconcile cash at the end of each shift and prepare summary reports for finance and audit purposes. Monitor staff check-in and check-out procedures to ensure compliance with company and UN Mission requirements. Assist in preparing payroll inputs based on verified attendance data. Provide courteous service to guests during payment processes and resolve any billing issues promptly. Ensure adherence to financial control policies and maintain confidentiality of records. Support inventory control by reporting cash-related variances linked to meal counts. Report health & safety, environmental, and food safety hazards and near miss/incident observed in the workplace to ensure a safe and healthy working environment. To follow, apply and maintain all applicable ISO standards and requirements. YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE WITH MINIMUM EDUCATION REQ'T: 2 years previous experience in similar roleSYSTEMS/ EQUIPMENT OPERATION KNOWLEDGE:Knowledge of POS systems, basic accounting software, and attendance tracking tools. TECHNICAL/ PROFESSIONAL TRAINING REQUIRED:Basic health and food safety knowledgeCash handling and reconciliation skillsOTHER REQUIREMENTS: Physiologically fit to work in remote site locationsCan lift without aid 25kgsGood English & French language skillsAbility to complete simple reports such as attendance logs and cash summariesCOMPETENCIES: Attention to detailTime ManagementPlanning & OrganizingCommunicationCustomer Service OrientationIntegrity, HonestyFinancial accountability and integrity
