Our children enjoy exciting extracurricular activities such as Mini Masterchefs, Mini Champions, Mini Yoga, and Mini Linguistics—enriching development beyond the classroom.Position OverviewWe’re looking for a passionate Chef to join our Sydney Olympic Park service as a casual cook, catering for 90 children across three beautiful learning rooms. We would ideally like the Centre Cook to start from the 25th of November to the 26th of February, Monday to Friday 8:00am - 2:30pm. In this role, you’ll design and prepare nutritious, child-friendly meals that meet dietary requirements and inspire healthy eating habits.This is your chance to make a meaningful impact in a Centre still in its early days supporting children’s wellbeing through food while being a valued part of a collaborative, passionate team.ResponsibilitiesPlan and prepare fresh, nutritious meals and snacks for up to 90 children daily.Cater to a variety of dietary needs, allergies, and cultural preferences.Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organisation.Collaborate with educators to promote healthy eating and nutrition education.Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.Order, manage, and rotate stock efficiently.Qualifications and SkillsExperience as a Chef/Cook, ideally in childcare, school, or similar environment.Certificate in Food Handling/Safety (mandatory).Strong knowledge of nutrition for children.Excellent organisational and time-management skills.Positive, team-focused attitude and commitment to children’s wellbeing.BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience.Generous childcare discount for your family.Supportive, inclusive, and welcoming team environment.Opportunities for professional development and training.If you’re passionate about nourishing young minds and bodies, we’d love to hear from you!Email us at stephanie.espinoza@minimasterminds.com.au
