Formed in 2018 the Kinrise portfolio covers Biscuits, Breakfast, Baking, Bakery, and Snackfood categories and has 40+ years making iconic Australian food, with a rich Australian heritage that's grounded in family origins.About Our RoleWe’re seeking an accomplished Category and Insights Manager to join our Baking and Bakery business to lead the development of the Category & Insights agenda through application of consumer, shopper, customer, and business insights. This opportunity is a senior role and will play a critical leadership and influencing agenda sitting on the Baking Leadership Team, reporting to the General Manager of our Baking business unit.Based at our South Yarra head office, the Category & Insights Manager will lead growth, profitability, and key strategic initiatives across multiples categories for both our branded and private label portfolio’s. About YouTo excel in this role, you will have: Developed and executed category growth strategies that optimise product range, pricing, and distribution to deliver sustainable profitability and market share growth.Analysed and presented market trends, category and shopper insights, and competitor activity to identify opportunities.Provided data-driven recommendations on category & insights management priorities and strategies by brand, subcategory, and retailer, in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.Driven key aspects of the commercial plan, including the development and compliance of promotional activities (with financial modelling), ensuring clear communication across cross-functional teams. Whilst not imperative, prior revenue growth management (RGM) experience will be an advantage.Analysed pricing and promotional strategies to optimise market performance while meeting internal objectives.Overseen monthly reporting, facilitate cross-functional collaboration sessions, and manage key data relationships.Partnered with key retail customers to drive category performance through joint business planning and tailored initiatives.Built strong relationships with key customers and retailers, providing expert insights to support both their goals and the business objectives.Supported the assessment of our core range and new product development opportunities by leveraging available data sources in partnership with the Marketing team.Overseen product portfolio strategy, including new product launches, brand and category prioritisation, lifecycle management, and our brand expansion strategy. Leveraged insights to guide strategy for category or segment expansion and define priorities within the overall portfolio.Taken ownership of the data budget, working with agencies to maximise ROI on all data investments.Why Join Us?Kinrise is a fast paced, agile business that focuses on your talents and challenges you to perform at your best.
