At Aller Aqua, we believe in being more that just a supplier - we are a partner to our customers, working together for mutual success.The RoleAs our Category Manager, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing raw materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensureing timely, cost-effective procurement across the Aller Aqua Group. Reporting to our Group Procurement Manager, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to maintain supply chain efficiency and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, negotiate, and contract raw materials for our EU factoriesSet prices for all raw materials to support least-cost formulationEnsure raw materials are contracted in the right volume, quality and best price and delivery/payment termsMaintain and build professional relationships with suppliers, aiming to become a preferred clientDevelop good forecasts for raw material needsLead the professionalization of the group's procurement systems.Liaise with R & D, Quality and local factories.What we're looking forYou are driven by a desire to make a difference and seek the best procurement opportunities for the group. You have several year's experience from a similar position in the food industry or even in aquaculture or agriculture.
