We have over 2,000 employees, 1,9 million customers and 415 stores.Read more about us!Join our pack as a Category Specialist for the Pureplay banners!We’re looking for a Category Specialist to join the Musti Pureplay organization, the e-commerce focused part of Musti Group, consisting of the business units Vetzoo.no, Vetzoo.se, and PetenKoiratarvike.com. This is a fixed-term position for one year, covering a parental leave.Vetzoo is the leading local e-commerce company for pet care in Sweden and Norway. Founded in 2010, it has grown from a single store in Gothenburg to a trusted online destination for pet parents. Peten Koiratarvike is Finland’s largest local pet care e-commerce brand. Established in 2004, it now operates six physical stores across the country alongside its thriving online business.The Category Specialist is responsible for the assortment of several different product groups in three different market areas: Finland, Sweden and Norway. You will follow the trends in all countries and build the assortment to meet customer needs in different markets. You will follow the business strategy and set KPIs. You work closely with partners, suppliers, stores, and teammates to reach set goals and deadlines. This role reports directly to our Product Team Lead based in Finland.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging the assortment across several product categories, including Dog and Cat Toys, Dog and Cat Treats, Health & Wellbeing and Dog TrainingSet and manage end consumer pricing for your product categoriesPlan campaigns for your product groups in collaboration with the Category & Campaign ManagerTake ownership of collecting accurate product data from suppliers, the group, and your team. Acting as the first point of contact for product informationSupport customer service and stores with product-related questions and issuesWhat Are We Looking ForYou’re a commercially minded professional with a passion for data-driven decision making and a strong understanding of assortment and pricing strategies. Ideally, you bring:3+ years of experience in data driven assortment work, preferably in an omni or e-commerce B2C environmentHands-on experience in pricing strategy developmentExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working closely with diverse teams and external partnersStrong negotiation skills and a confident approach to stakeholder managementA structured way of working, with great attention to detailAbility to work independently while thriving in a team-oriented environmentExperience in international settings and cross-border collaborationA bachelor’s degree in business or equivalentFluency in Finnish or Swedish, and excellent command of EnglishWe value experience in both sales and purchasing – and a true passion for pets and pet wellbeing is always a plusWhy to join our pack?We offer you diverse and inspiring work in a rapidly growing and evolving business in one of the leading pet retail companies.
