Reporting to the Core Convenience Manager, you will lead our forecasting, and demand planning — partnering with manufacturers and distributors to drive commercial outcomes.If you love numbers and insights, thrive in a fast-paced FMCG environment, and enjoy turning complex data into clear business opportunities lets kōrero!This role can be based in either Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland or Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington.You will have the opportunity toCollaborate with Category Managers to align forecasts, risks, and opportunities, ensuring accurate monthly Demand Review and support with reporting and planning activitiesSupport supply chain administration and supplier income reporting as well as regular and ad hoc reporting requestsWork with our suppliers to manage partnerships and stock quality and accuracy, this also includes leading reviews on performanceOwn our ordering systems and ensure forecasting and planning is completedSupport Z sites with any delivery or invoicing queriesSupport launches by working with Category Managers on promotional activity and manufacturers to ensure stock availabilityProduce category communications both internally and externallyQualificationsWhat you’ll bring to ZExperience within the FMCG industry ideally in a support, analytical or project-based roleExcellent administration and organisational skills with strong attention to detailStrong analytical skills and familiarity with forecasting techniquesDemonstrated experience managing reports, promotional planning, forecasting, and analysisGreat communication skills as this role will see you share and gather information with a range of internal and external stakeholdersAdvanced Microsoft Office skills particularly working with Excel spreadsheetsA passion for convenience retail, a pro-active mindset and the energy to work in a fast paced and changing landscape!And of course, you’ll be passionate about what matters to Z, embracing and living our values to help us deliver on our aspirations and broader commitment to Aotearoa New Zealand.Don’t meet every single requirement?
