What You Will DoRole DefinitionDevelops, oversees, and strives to maximize the efficiency of the targeted logistics, distribution and/or transportation networks necessary to provide end-to-end supply chains, typically for 1 location. ResponsibilitiesDesigning and optimizing logistics plans and targeted processes to meet supply chain demands and ensure customer satisfaction. Managing a team of staff to evaluate and implement logistics programs and activities in compliance with related regulations for an organization. Developing mechanisms and metrics to monitor and forecast costs, savings and performance for targeted transportation modes. ASCM Certification Logistics Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) highly desired. What Skills You Will HaveProject Management:

Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives. Warehouse Management: Knowledge of the policies, processes and systems of warehouse management; ability to effectively manage one or more warehouses or distribution centresDistribution Centre Management: Knowledge of distribution processes, issues and considerations; ability to effectively manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory to stores and/or customers. Inventory Management: Knowledge of processes and methods of inventory management; ability to effectively manage organization's materials, commodities, merchandises, or products. Logistics Management:

Knowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials; ability to understand, predict and control the movement of goods, materials and supplies. Supply Chain Management: Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and implement strategies, practices and tools for controlling the whole processes. Required QualificationsDegree or equivalent experience desiredDesired QualificationsTop candidates will also have strong English communication skillAdditional InformationTravel international and domesticThis position requires working onsite five days a week.
