ResponsibilitiesAs a Data Engineer at Cat Digital's Slovakian branch, you will contribute to design, development and deployment of Caterpillar’s state of the art digital program. You will be responsible for: Development of applications focused around delivering business valuable features. Assist other engineers, providing technical assistance and collaboration. Adhere to best practices towards code standards and procedures Performing integrated testing to ensure timely, quality results.

This position works directly with Slovakia based engineering leadership and Cat Digital IT in the US. What You HaveKnowledge of technical aspects of a software products; ability to design, configure and integrate technical aspects of software products. Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Solid experience in designing and developing software applications in Python. Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases – e. g. MongoDB, DynamoDB, Oracle, PostgreSQL etc. Passion for technology and eagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment.

Experience working within an Agile framework (ideally Scrum) Top Candidates Will Also HaveSolid knowledge of computer science fundamentals like data structures and algorithms.
