Would you like to help operate and commission the CBTC system on the S-network as we roll out one of Europe’s largest and most complex rail upgrades?We’re hiring an Interlocking & Commissioning Discipline Manager to help take the S-network from GoA2 to driverless GoA4.An important role in a complex railway environmentYou’ll join a small, multi-disciplinary team operating, while at the same time, introducing the new CBTC system. DSB is investing significantly and modernising our technical and organisational setup.Our goal is to create more capacity, reduce congestion, and support a more sustainable Greater Copenhagen.Together with Banedanmark, we keep the S-network running every day while preparing for future driverless operation.You’ll be based in Greater Copenhagen; initially your time will be split between DSB in Høje Taastrup and Banedanmark in central Copenhagen. You will be working with international suppliers and advisers from across Europe.The future S-network will be the world’s largest and fastest driverless train system—join us on the journey.About The JobYou are a solution oriented lead interlocking engineer with control systems experience.As Interlocking & Commissioning Discipline Manager, you ensure high quality deliverables, supplier compliance with technical and functional requirements, and on time design, implementation and commissioning of interlocking deliveries.You work closely with the CBTC team, Banedanmark, DSB and system suppliers to align requirements, deliveries and roll outs. You will participate in the timely and proper commissioning of the CBTC system, in close collaboration with our entrepreneurs and advisors, following renewal and construction work.“The CBTC system is the heart of S-network. We are a small group of experienced specialists, that interact closely with great colleagues in Banedanmark, DSB and the industry to reach our common goal.”Says Henning, CBTC SpecialistYou’ll also take on other related tasks across maintenance, renewal and construction on the S network infrastructure.Your main tasks and responsibilities within the interlocking area areAdapt the signaling system for track renewals in collaboration with the supplierManage change requests: define changes and evaluate supplier proposalsReview and align supplier documentation with projects and stakeholdersPlan and implement CBTC changes, incl. GoA4 transition and network expansionsParticipate in construction and coordination meetings across track projectsYour main tasks and responsibilities within the commissioning area areAct as commissioning manager, coordinating projects, supplier, operations and stakeholdersFacilitate progress across all sub deliveries for the subject signalChair commissioning board meetings and ensure clear decisionsPlan and execute deployments; participate in commissioning on siteFollow up on decommissioning and close out activitiesWe look forward to welcoming you to the CBTC team and the Future S network (FS) programme, with around 200 colleagues of many skills and nationalities.
