Committed to supporting business growth, the company offers valuable insights and solutions that help clients navigate complex regulatory and financial landscapes.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CDD Operations Executive to support the customer due diligence functions of our UAE-based clients. The incumbent plays a key role in ensuring customer onboarding, periodic reviews, and event-driven assessments are conducted in full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will be responsible for collecting, verifying, and maintaining accurate customer information to mitigate financial crime risks—such as money laundering, terrorist financing, and sanctions violations. The position may require flexibility in working hours to align with the operational needs of the UAE retail jewelry industry. Work on weekends, public holidays, or extended hours may occasionally be required, with compensatory leave provided in accordance with company policy.Key Responsibilities:1. Customer Onboarding & KYCReview and validate customer identification documents and information.Conduct KYC checks as per regulatory and internal standards.Screen customers against sanctions lists, PEP databases, and adverse media.Assess customer risk ratings and document the outcomes.2. CDD / EDD ReviewsSupport periodic, trigger-based, and event-driven due diligence reviews.Identify cases requiring Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) and escalate appropriately.Maintain accurate, well-structured, and up-to-date CDD files.3. Operational SupportManage and process CDD requests efficiently while meeting SLAs.Escalate unusual findings, discrepancies, or suspicious behaviour to Compliance.Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements at all times.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Law, or a related field.1–2 years’ experience in Compliance, KYC/CDD, or Financial Crime Operations (preferred).Knowledge of AML/CFT regulations, exposure in ADGM, MOE regulations, and global industry standards (FATF, EU AMLD, UAE regulations).Experience with KYC systems, screening tools, or case management platforms (advantageous).Skills & CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and accuracy.Good analytical and problem-solving ability.Ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with compliance tools is a plus.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Timely closure of screening and KYC alerts.On-time completion of onboarding and periodic CDD reviews.High accuracy in documentation and verification.
