Job Description

YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENTAs Men, Merchandising Assistant Manager, and part of the Merchandising team, You will participate in overall management of ALL MEN’S CATEGORIES (LG, RTW, SHOES, ACC. ) from 360 vision from buying, sales projection, stock management and daily operation tasks. With CELINE’s growing business as well as vision of sophistication, you will have the opportunity to develop the brand as utmost desired luxury brand in Korean Market. You will not only work within the scope of Merchandising, but also through collaboration with Retail, PR, Training, CRM and Supply Chain.

Your impactBuying (2 times / year) Plan sales forecast with business planner, reflecting growth target, network plan by life type codes, following recent sales trend. Prepare all necessary sales reports by activity, line, colours and boutique. Propose a purchasing plan by activity, line, mix, value, qty, number of references and depth based on the retail core offer and the sales history. Proceed to complete the order process, respecting central guideline while creating alignment with business planner and prepare necessary material for order review with central Merchandising Team. Also collaborate with communication & Clienteling Team if necessary.

Enter data in the system and ensure completion of the orders according to the buying schedule. Sales Analysis & Product MonitoringFollow up sales on daily/weekly basis, liaise with the boutiques and propose action plans if necessary: prepare weekly reports with comments on performances and identify growth opportunities. Work with the Visual Merchandiser in order to ensure proper display of the product based on the Visual Merchandising guideline and the sales trend as well as the seasonal message of the brand. Review delivery plan with Supply Chain & Logistics team and manage stock status for category in charge.

Analyze competitors offer, best-sellers and prices. Liaise with Sales Planner and Finance to collaborate on sales plans, forecasts and general OTB. Collaborate with Merchandising Director to understand overall business needs and opportunities in each location to form cohesive buys amongst categories and to formulate and execute action plans holistically. Secure SalesFrequent visit & communication with Store teams in order to seek sales opportunitiesCollaborate with Merchandising Director to understand overall business needs and opportunities in each location to form cohesive buys amongst categories and to formulate and execute action plans holistically. QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree required, advanced degree a plusMinimum 7 years of Fashion / Luxury buying experience. Retail experience plusExcellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills, ability to leverage data to project consumer insights and trends and strong drive for results and goal orientation. Excellent interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingExpert Microsoft Excel skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines, good at prioritization. Availability to periodically travel to visit markets in scope.

Significant track record in running a successful Merchandising activation. A true team player who enjoys working in an environment which will stretch & expose them to working across multiple departments & teams. Ability to influence others and move towards a common vision and/or goalCommercial acumen. Fluent in English
