Certified Aviation Technician (Structures)

Required to perform various Heavy Maintenance/SVM duties including, but not limited to:Analyse and interpret aircraft blueprints, specifications, and maintenance manuals to perform repairs;Prepare surfaces and apply protective coatings to a variety of materials used on the aircraft;Fabricate parts as needed; Conduct maintenance;Order supplies, equipment, materials, and parts for repairs and routine maintenance; Safely operate various tools used for sheet metal applications;Install, repair, inspect, and replace sheet metal components on aircraft, including structural assemblies.Grade 12 or Equivalent (Essential); Trade test Certificate (Aircraft Sheet Metal/Structures) (Essential)Licensed AME with a SACAA B rating (Essential);Minimum of 5 years aviation experience (Essential); Previous experience working on B737-800 (Essential); Previous experience working on B737-8 (MAX) (Advantageous)OJT experience (Advantageous); Valid South African passport holder; Must be willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, and overtime as and when required; Must be available and willing to travel at short notice, both locally and internationally.
