As a hardware-enabled SaaS solution with both in-house and outsourced manufacturing, managing working capital and inventory is crucial to our operational success. With headquarters in Belgium and wholly owned subsidiaries in the UK and US, our focus is on expanding operations internationally while maintaining product leadership & innovation at our core.To support this growth, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and optimize Nobi’s financial strategy and operations.Role OverviewThe CFO will play a pivotal role in scaling Nobi’s operations, establishing robust financial and administrative processes across our international footprint. You will be responsible for both day-to-day operational excellence and long-term strategic planning, preparing the company for a successful exit in the future.This Belgium-based role involves reporting to the CEO for daily management and to the board for company performance updates. The CFO will work closely with other senior leaders to ensure Nobi’s financial health and scalability in a complex, international environment.Key Responsibilities Operational ExcellenceBuild and manage a scalable finance, admin, and reporting infrastructure that supports Nobi’s growth objectives.Oversee financial operations in Belgium, the UK, and the US, ensuring compliance with local tax, audit, and financial regulations.Lead treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes to optimize resource allocation and financial performance.Implement best practices in financial reporting, internal controls, and corporate governance.Manage relationships with auditors, tax authorities, banks, and other external partners. Strategic DevelopmentCollaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute Nobi’s long-term financial strategy.Structure & execute fundraising initiatives, including identifying financing opportunities and optimizing capital structure.Prepare the company for potential M&A activities and a successful exit, ensuring Nobi’s financial profile aligns with private equity expectations.Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making. International Finance LeadershipOversee the financial integration and performance of Nobi’s subsidiaries in the UK and US.Standardize financial processes and reporting across all entities to ensure consistency and transparency.Monitor and manage risks related to foreign exchange, taxation, and international operations. Board & Stakeholder ReportingPrepare and present financial reports to the board, providing clear insights into company performance, risks, and opportunities.Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment on strategic goals and performance metrics. Team Leadership & DevelopmentBuild and lead a small but high-performing finance and administrative team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.Mentor and develop direct reports, ensuring the team has the skills and resources needed to support Nobi’s growth. Cross-Departmental CollaborationPartner with other department leaders to ensure smooth financial operations that support business objectives.Align finance and operations with Nobi’s overall strategic priorities, including Product & Technology, Sales & Marketing, Manufacturing & Product Supply and Delivery & Customer Success.Profile & SkillsRequired Qualifications:Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA is a plus.10+ years of experience in senior financial management roles, preferably in a scale-up or tech-driven environment.Proven expertise in international finance, including multi-entity operations and cross-border compliance.Strong understanding of operational finance, with experience in scaling financial systems and processes.
