SQL Developer

Position DescriptionThis role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto\and/or Client office at a minimum 1 days per week - subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities Design and develop database structures and procedures to facilitate SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Modify and optimize SQL queries for integration with other applications Ensure database performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems Produce SQL reports to assist the management team in business decision making Test databases to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the data output Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information Manage and maintain database backup and recovery processes Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures and triggers to support application development Collaborate with developers to provide data services to applications Document database processes as a reference for future troubleshooting and maintenanceRequired Qualifications To Be Successful In This RoleMust have:

SQL expert in understanding complex Stored procedures and problem triage writing queries on the fly to get to the root cause of the issues. Shell scripting and experience working in Linux environments. Incident management & change process. Good problem-solving skills to identify, analyze and effectively address the challenges. Good communication, talking to business leaders explaining the problem. Creating, managing documents & record managementNice to have: Node JS experience Experience in understanding Azure data bricks.
