The Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC) is a statutory body set up to combat and reduce the incidence of major crime and corruption in the public sector in Queensland. As an organisation we are committed to this vision and as such our values of people, accountability, integrity, courage and excellence underpin everything we do at the CCC.About YouThe ideal applicant will demonstrate capability in the following requirements: Previous experience as a Chair, Deputy Chair or member of a relevant Committee (such as a Human Research Ethics Committee), including demonstrated knowledge and experience in:organising, managing and working on a committee,managing research applications, ethics complaints and/or mediation,managing conflicts of interest, andfostering a free exchange of opinions.Previous experience in areas related to the work of the CCC.A strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, procedures, guidelines, First Nations cultural sensitivity and trauma informed practice.Possession of tertiary qualifications in psychology, criminology, sociology, law, policy, or similar is highly desirable.
