NSW Utility ProjectContract: Commence immediately - June 2026Role The Change Readiness Lead will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation and adoption of a new B2B retailer portal for a NSW Utility. This role will lead readiness planning, stakeholder engagement and transition activities to prepare internal teams, retailers and other key stakeholders for the new portal and associated regulatory changes. Working closely with the Senior Change Managers, product teams and business stakeholders, this role will drive a coordinated approach to communication, training and engagement to enable a seamless go-live and sustainable adoption of the portal and associated new processes.Key Skills and ExperienceProven experience leading business transition and change readiness activities for large-scale digital or customer transformation programs.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence across internal teams and external stakeholders, building trust and confidence in the programs.Demonstrated ability to design and deliver structured readiness plans, including communication, training and adoption tracking.Experience working within agile or iterative delivery environments managing complex change in transformation.Exceptional attention to detail with high-level organisation, adaptability and problem-solving capabilities.Exposure to digital adoption tools or customer portals (e.g ServiceNow, WalkMe) would be advantageous.Experience in utilities, energy or customer service transformation is highly regarded.Core CompetenciesLeads with confidence and accountability.Connects readiness planning to overall program and business outcomes.Builds trusted relationships across program, product and operational teams, as well as external stakeholders and contributes to a collaborative team culture.Communicates clearly and effectively to build understanding and confidence.Plans and delivers activities with discipline, focus and attention to detail.Designs solutions that enhance the experience for internal and external stakeholders.Adapts easily to changing priorities and maintains composure and a solution-focused mindset.
