The Head of Operations is responsible for the development and management of residential, domiciliary, assisted living packages, befriending, and day care/work services for vulnerable adults and children. The focus is on services for individuals with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health issues, including those with complex challenging behaviors. Key Responsibilities IncludeEnsuring all work is person-centred, upholding principles of respect, privacy, dignity, fulfilment, independence, and choice. Being available to individuals supported, advocating on their behalf, and overseeing the development and review of individual care plans.
Providing leadership, supervision, and management of staff, ensuring full staffing within budget and addressing staff development needs. Assisting with project development, initial management, and formulation of policies promoting quality care. Participating in annual budget preparation and managing services within allocated finances. Liaising with carers, professionals, voluntary bodies, and community groups in meeting clients’ needs. Representing the organization in committees or working groups as appropriate.
