The role ensures the right products reach the right customers through tailored distribution, accurate forecasting, and commercial performance insights.This role will focus on developing the global guidance for differentiated store strategies within DTC and Wholesale store formats incl. our premium reseller concept as well as and support the execution together with the local market teams, to optimise performance and contribute towards sales and margin growth.As a subject matter expert within channel merchandising, you lead the development of our ways of working, tools & methodologies as well as knowledge sharing and learning among key stakeholders, while ensuring tight cross functional collaboration, working towards joint brand & business goals.Key ResponsibilitiesGlobal, market and channel assortmentsLeads global channel tiering strategy for existing and new markets, especially Premium Reseller conceptBase assortment monitoring based on inventory turn and other retail KPIsContact for local channel assortment ranging decisions or exitsInventory management & Demand planning contactSupports the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle with Key Performance Indicators (KPI) tracking and brand insightsOversees inventory quality and manages our excess & obsolete stock (E&O) on global levelSteers allocation prioritization principles on global levelOversees B-grade business and provides guidance to marketsPerformance & promotion managementSet global promotion and campaign guideline in line with inventory and commercial goalsConduct regular product and country performance analysesLeads the development of key merchandising tools and dashboardsYour background:5+ years’ experience in Merchandise Planning, Buying, Supply & Demand Planning or related rolesStrong proficiency of Microsoft Office (especially Excel), experience with PowerBI and SAP is a plusStructured way of working – ability to manage overlapping deadlines, multiple tasks, structured documentation and pay close attention to detailsEntrepreneurial and results oriented – take ownership and initiative to ensure goals are metStrong communication and collaboration skills - comfortable working and influencing in matrix and across functions, countries and teamsBachelor’s or preferable master’s degree in business, merchandising, supply chain, or related fieldLanguage skills:EnglishDanish is a plusWith untiring enthusiasm, Royal Copenhagen continuously revitalises itself and its historic aesthetic, time and time again.
