Designation SummaryThe Channel Sales Executive – Retail Operations is responsible for driving sales growth, optimizing store performance, and enhancing customer experience across retail outlets. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership ability to manage frontline sales staff, and close collaboration with brand merchandisers. The position will lead in-store activities, implement sales strategies, improve store layouts, and ensure frontline teams are well-trained to achieve business objectives.Job Description· Manage and supervise retail sales staff to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.· Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and provide analytical insights to management· Collaborate with brand merchandisers to ensure product assortment, visual displays, and promotional campaigns are well executed.· Lead in-store activities, events, and promotions to increase footfall and conversion.· Oversee store layout planning and continuous improvement to maximize sales opportunities.· Conduct regular store visits to evaluate operations, ensure compliance, and identify areas for improvement· Organize and deliver frontline staff (FL) training programs to enhance customer service, product knowledge, and selling skills.· Ensure operational excellence and alignment with brand guidelines across all retail outlets.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales & Marketing, Retail Management, or related fieldMinimum 3–5 years of experience in retail sales, channel operations, or trade marketing (senior executive level experience preferred).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret sales data and market insights.Proven leadership experience in managing frontline sales teams.Knowledge of retail operations, store layout planning, and in-store marketing.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and sales reporting tools.Self-driven, result-oriented, and able to work under pressure
