Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore levelCumulative GPA of 2. 75 or higherProficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPointStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and relationship building skillsAbility to succeed in a team environmentAbility to handle multiple tasksPreferred Experience: AutoCAD and Solid WorksKnowledge of mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatic)Data analysis and problem solving techniquesWhat You’ll Focus On:

Assist with designing machine upgradesComplete designs and layouts for equipment and structuresWork with maintenance to troubleshoot equipment issuesApply engineering principles to design and material selectionParticipate in Continuous Improvement projectsAssist in other projects and function as a resource for other team membersSupport existing engineering projectsDocument and improve processesFollow Environmental, Quality and Safety Management System procedures and requirements
